The World Poker Games (WPG) is heading to Taipei for its inaugural series, as the newly established tour announces a long-term partnership with the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Club (CTP) and the launch of WPG Taiwan 2026, set to run from May 23 to 31, 2026 at the Asia Poker Arena in Taipei, Taiwan . The Main Event: TWD 10 Million Guaranteed

Beyond the Main Event, the WPG Taiwan schedule is designed to keep players busy from morning to midnight across all nine days. The WPG Kick Off (#1) gets the series underway on May 23 with a TWD 10,000 buy-in and a TWD 2,000,000 guarantee across three starting flights, while the WPG Mystery Bounty (#16) adds an extra dimension to the mid-series action with a TWD 2,500,000 guarantee.
High Rollers are well catered for, with the Super Star Challenge (TWD 77,000), the All Star High Roller (TWD 45,000), the High Roller Special (TWD 55,000), and the Super High Roller (TWD 66,000) all featuring on the schedule.
